This event was held at St. Andrews church hall from 11.30 am to 3.30 PM with a light lunch followed by a wonderful performance by the Taranaki Children’s Choir (in the age group of 7 -11 Years). Choir was conducted by Lenore Brooker and Elaine Schreiber .
The Taranaki Multi Ethnic Council’s end of the year social will be held on Saturday 27th Nov. 2010, at St. Andrew’s Church Hall, New Plymouth, from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm. The Taranaki Children’s Choir will gather around 1.45pm to sing at 2pm for approx 15 minutes. There will be approx 14-16 children and they will sing a few general pieces and few Christmas Carols conducted by Lenore Brooker and accompanied by a pianist.
All are welcome, especially new migrants and those from other cultures or countries who have made Taranaki their home. A light lunch will be provided, however you are also welcome to bring your favourite ethnic food to share. For information phone Bryony Tubby on 753 4934.
